Routine Dog Care Is in Your Control!

For 11 years, I could only help when a pet came to me.

I worked 11 years in the grooming industry at a local Mount Dora pet salon, including managing and grooming there. I loved the work, and I loved getting to know the animals and families who came through the door.

But there was always one limitation to the traditional salon model that stayed with me.

Once a pet left the salon, I couldn't really help them again until they came back.

If their nails needed attention two weeks later, they had to make another trip. If their coat needed some brushing, they had to come back. If their family needed someone to walk the dog while they were at work, or check on their cat, rabbit, or guinea pig, that simply wasn't what a grooming salon was set up to do.

Justin, Owner of Paws and Play House Calls

I could take care of the big grooming appointment.

But I couldn't be there for the everyday life happening between appointments.

And after 11 years, I started thinking:

Why couldn't I?

That's where Paws & Play House Calls came from.

Instead of waiting for you to pack up your pet and bring them to me, I come to you.

And once I looked at pet care from that perspective, I realized there were really four basic ways I could help.

So I gave them four buttons:

🐾 PAWS • 🎾 PLAY • 🏠 HOME • 🔄 REPLAY

Think of it like a remote control for your pet's everyday care.

PAWS

“My pet needs some hands-on care.”

Routine care doesn't always need to become a full grooming appointment.

Maybe your dog's nails are clicking on the floor. Maybe your cat needs a brush-out. Maybe your rabbit or guinea pig needs their nails trimmed. Maybe a coat just needs some attention between full grooms.

That's where PAWS comes in.

Nail care, brushing, coat maintenance, ear cleaning, paw cleanups, deshedding, spot trimming, and routine hygiene and maintenance are all part of it.

The model is simple: you purchase the time, then tell me what needs attention.

Care visits are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute blocks at $1 per minute. Instead of charging separately for every little task, we use your scheduled time where it's needed most.

If the primary task is finished with time left, we don't just stop. We can borrow from PLAY or HOME—take a quick stroll, refresh their water, throw a ball in the yard, freshen their bedding, or simply spend some extra time together.

You pay for the time. We make the time count.

PLAY

“My pet needs some time with somebody.”

Maybe you've been at work all day. Maybe your dog has energy to burn. Maybe your cat needs some interaction, or your small pets could use some supervised play and attention.

PLAY is about walks, exercise, backyard play, enrichment, simple trick practice, and companionship.

And just like PAWS, you're not buying a checklist of activities. You're setting aside dedicated time for your pet.

Maybe the whole visit is a neighborhood walk. Maybe we come home with enough time left for fetch or an enrichment game. Maybe your pet simply wants some attention and company.

If what they need changes while I'm there, we can change with it.

Just time set aside for your pet, used in whatever way makes the most sense that day.

HOME

“My pet's environment needs some attention, too.”

Taking care of a pet also means taking care of the place they live.

Fresh food and water. Clean bowls. Litter care. Rabbit and guinea pig habitat care. Bedding. Yard waste. Pet-related cleanup.

And sometimes, it's dealing with the hair they leave behind—pet hair removal on floors, sofas, bedding, or even inside your vehicle.

HOME is about those everyday things that are part of caring for your pets and their environment.

When you're away, HOME can also mean in-home pet sitting and overnight care, allowing your pets to stay in the place they already know.

Again, the idea is time rather than a rigid checklist.

You tell me what's most important, and I'll put the time you've purchased toward it.

REPLAY

“I don't want to have to think about this every time.”

Some things are simply easier when they're part of a routine.

A regular walk while you're working. Routine nail care. Coat maintenance. Recurring visits for your small pets. Regular help around the home.

That's what REPLAY is about.

Instead of waiting until something needs immediate attention and then scrambling to schedule it, you can put routine care on a predictable schedule.

And there's another benefit.

I get to know your pets.

They get to know me.

Over time, I'm not a new person showing up every time they need something. I'm someone familiar.

One Person. More Ways to Help.

That's really the idea behind the four buttons.

They're not four disconnected businesses.

They're four different ways I can support the same pet and the same household.

I might meet your dog because they need their nails trimmed. A few weeks later, I might take them for a walk. Later, I might groom them. And when you go away, I might be the person staying with them.

Over time, I learn their personality, their routine, their likes and dislikes.

And they learn me.

That's the part of Paws & Play that matters most to me.

I don't want to be someone your pet meets once every few weeks.

I want to become someone they know.

A familiar face at the door.

A familiar person they trust.

A familiar friend throughout their life.

PAWS. PLAY. HOME. REPLAY.
